Our virtual courses prepare professionals to conduct and write legally defensible assessments and implement AT tools and services in K-12 settings. Mentoring and ample resources provided. Courses are offered twice/year starting in September and February. If you have a group of 10 or more, please contact us to schedule your own private course. Hybrid options are also available.
We provide virtual group training in specific AAC apps (ex. Proloquo2go, TouchChat etc.) and AT software (Read&Write, Cowriter and Snap&Read,) Chrome accessibility and more. Contact us to schedule your team, school or District's training.
This webinar provides resources for schools and Districts to start or improve their AT systems and policies. Target audience: administrators, program specialists and/or lead AT Specialists. We encourage you to bring one or two team members with you to this training. This webinar is offered twice yearly in September and December.
Nikki and Diana provide in-person standard and IEE assessments in the areas of assistive technology and alternative-augmentative communication throughout Southern California. Depending on the case, a remote assessment may be possible.
Depending on the location, we also provide Speech IEE's from our on-staff certified Speech Therapist/AAC Specialist. Rate sheet available upon request.
Tracy Castadio, M.S. CCC-SLP, Speech Language Pathologist
Tracy has a B.S. degree in Communications of Sciences and Disorders from Cal State University Chico and an M.S. degree in Speech Language Pathology from Chapman University. Training includes: AAC Assessment Certificate, PROMPT, Gestalt Language Processing and Natural Language Acquisition. Memberships include: American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), a SIG AAC member, So-Cal AAC Networking Group member, and part of the International Society for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (ISAAC). AAC is her true passion and serving individuals who have diverse needs by providing accessible communication support through evidence based practices.
The AT Certificate Course is designed to help prepare participants for assessing K-12 students with curriculum access needs. It provides personal attention and individual coaching in a small group setting. The course does not cover AAC . It is offered two times a year in both Fall and Spring or can be specially designed for SELPAs and districts.
